Code of Practice Closed Circuit Television Systems

This code of practice relates to CCTV systems design, systems must be appropriate to the nature of the risk identified; complaint with relevant legislation (including Human Rights Act and Data Protection requirements as appropriate) and satisfy agreed operational requirements. Occupational Health and Safety Policy

At 2020 Vision we believe that all injuries are preventable – ‘Think Safe. Act Safe. Be Safe’ underpins our approach to safety. Our Occupational Health Safety Statement promotes the setting of clear expectations, responsibilities and accountabilities, constant promotion and improvement of safe working practices, identification and control of workplace hazards, and the commitment to safety of each and every person involved in our operating environments.  2020 Vision to a certified – BS OHSAS 18001:2007, this sets out the minimum requirements for occupational health and safety management best practice.

The relevant ISO, British and European standards, as inspected by the Security Systems and Alarms Inspection Board SSAIB. As an SSAIB registered supplier we are subject to regular audits and inspections to ensure our compliance with the relevant ENBS standards and industry codes of practice.

SSAIB is a UKAS accredited certification body for providers of electronic security systems, fire detection and alarm systems and manned guarding services. Our enrolment number is NBR1.

Staff Vetting

All staff are vetted in accordance with BS 7858, the Code of Practice for screening of personnel employed in a security environment, thus ensuring their integrity and assuring your confidentiality and security.
