2020Vision's co-ordinated concierge solution provides a flexible, expandable and fully integrated security platform for securing, monitoring and controlling multi-tenanted housing or offices in high-rise buildings.

Built around Honeywell technology, the concierge solution incorporates CCTV and management, access control, alarm management, graphic user interfaces, SQL data base, transmission and video/audio recording, all integrated into a seamless network. It provides the most powerful door entry, security and management system available for monitoring and controlling of single or multiple sites.

  • Each apartment or property is equipped with a digital intercom for communications to the security room and also the front / rear doors. Authorised entry is usually obtained via the security control room, which can forward the incoming call to the respective tenant.

 

  • Each apartment or property has a 4-inch TFT video screen for viewing front-door guests and also any predetermined video camera from the network as specified. This includes individual partitioning. This allows tenants to see possibly a rear or alternative view of the guest at the front door. It also provides for tenants viewing their allocated car parking, without allowing the full use of the PTZ dome camera- additional programming and commissioning are required for this facility. Additional IP trunks are required when information such as video and audio are requested from distant sites onto the tenants' monitors and handsets.

 

  • Additional video such as advertising and PowerPoint presentations can also be input and utilised by the tenants. This may be local maps and directories, emergency numbers etc. Additional hardware, software and commissioning are required to implement this facility.

 

  • After-hours the system can revert to ‘point to point' control, from the doors direct to tenants by-passing the control room.

 

  • Front/rear doors and all external intercoms are equipped with IP67 vandal-resistant steel panels.

 

  • The tenant and the control room operator have the ability to authorize entry to the complex from their handset with a single button press, with video / audio verification and a full audit trail. Priorities are assignable.

 

  • The tenants' handset can be set to ‘Privacy' mode, allowing no calls at all.

 

  • Each tenant is supplied with a FOB access control tag, with a PIN if required, for entry either into the apartment block or their own dwelling or premise. Access control is also applied in some instances to common areas such as laundries, kitchen, exercise areas etc. Biometrics such as fingerprint scan or iris scanning technology is available as an alternative to or in conjunction with FOB tags.

 

  • Car parks and common areas are protected by CCTV and access control. Boom gates and barriers are all integrated into the management system allowing for secure parking.

 

  • The Access control and Intercom sub-systems advise the CCTV management system of exceptions and a preprogrammed set of alarm requirements is expedited.

 

  • Access control systems are also integrated with CCTV for programmable responses to entry / exits and access violations.

 

  • Boom gates, doors and barriers can also be controlled manually from a graphic workstation allowing total site control.

 

  • All equipment is capable of networking and remote control allowing a single control point or operator, for many multi-tenanted or multi-apartment blocks.

 

  • Stand-alone site requirements are all met within the 2020 Concierge package. Should the connection be lost to the control room, the entire system reverts to a predetermined operating scenario and continues to function normally. Alarms are generated to advise loss of communications.

 

Additional features are available to each sub-system.  These are standard hardware and software add-ons that have been developed from customers' requests.  A few are:

 

  • CCTV.MAX-1000

 

  • - VCR / DVR Management System. Provides guaranteed duplicated video / audio recording for either analogue or digital systems.
  • - Auto Dab facilities. Only alarm incidents and operator activated alarms are auto dubbed to VCR or DVR, clearing tapes and hard drives of unwanted information daily or weekly, and providing a single tape or drive for all incidents.
  • - Customised operator touch screen keyboards designed to the sites requirements.
  • Access Control

 

  • - Includes biometrics, iris scans and fingerprint recognition. Available for all applications.
  • - MAX-1000 CCTV control module. Available for remote Safenet access control workstations and administrator positions. This allows full control of the CCTV network including playback and file download from VCR's and DVR. Telemetry control of PTZ cameras is also provided.
  • - Elevator / Lift control. Monitor and control access to elevators and lifts.

 

  • GE700 Telephone Entry

 

  • - Fire retardant equipment.
  • - Bomb proof enclosures and military specification equipment.
  • - Built in warden call facility for infirm tenants

 

  • Digital Recording

 

  • - Motion detection: in some instances, to maximise hard drive requirements, recording can commence on detection of movement with a given scene.
  • - Post Motion Detection. To designate area/s on the video image and search for movement within this area within a given time period.
  • - Audio following. Record synchronised audio from intercom system with every video archive.

 

  • Transmission

 

  • - Various transmission formats are available to suit every application.
  • - DATA formats - RS232, RS485, RS422, ASFK audio, IP, Infra red.
  • - Video formats - PAL/NTSC. H263, Mpeg 2/4.
