2020 Vision Systems’ Managing Director Peter Houlis has been included in IFSEC Global’s list of the top 50 influencers in security & fire 2017.Peter ranked in at number two in the installers/integrators category. When putting together the top 50 influencers in security & fire 2017 list, the judges were looking for installers and integrators who were able to showcase either some or all of the following characteristics:
- Consistently provides exceptional customer service.
- Able to deliver on a particular project, or multiple projects, at exceptionally high standards.
- Is an innovator e.g. able to reduce costs through adoption of new technology or cut average installation time.
- Plays a pivotal role in the success of the company that they are associated with.
- Plays pivotal role in the diversification of the company into new markets.
Peter certainly impressed, having been instrumental in the launch, development and management of 2020 Vision over the past three decades. He continues to take the security solutions company to new heights by constantly driving growth strategies and building strong relationships with clients and partners alike across various industries.
Peter successfully balances his dedication and commitment to 2020 Vision Systems with his role as a board member of the Security Systems and Alarms Inspection Board (SSAIB) — he was also their representative on the British Standard Institute (BSI) Technical Committee for CCTV. He is also a Director of the Security Institute, a member of the Institute of Directors and the 49th person to be admitted to the register of chartered security professionals.
